Suspicious Envelope Arrives at Netanyahu’s Office
A suspicious envelope that came to the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday triggered a security alert after four people who felt ill after handling it were sent to the hospital for examination, according to local media reports.
The workers were so far cleared of any dangerous contamination, and a search of the office turned up no suspicious materials. The envelope, which had been discovered during routine checks of incoming mail, was sent to a lab for analysis.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was not at the office at the time of the incident.
Reports said that fire trucks were seen heading to the PMO building.
