IDF Neutralizes Two Bombs on Gaza Borders, None Hurt

YERUSHALAYIM

The IDF located and neutralized two explosive devices near the border fence with the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, the army said.

B’chasdei Shamayim, no soldiers were injured.

The two charges, one of which had been planted in an off-limits area in the northern Gaza Strip, the other in the south, were aimed at Israeli patrols along the border.

They were actually spotted a week ago, but the IDF decided at the time to monitor the areas in order to catch those who put them there. When they failed to arrive, it was decided to dispose of the dangerous items.

After they were defused, the devices were removed for further examination.
