Collision Reports Now Available At NYPD Site
Motorists in New York City can now retrieve their collision reports online, easing a frustration for drivers who had to appear in person at the precinct where the accident had occurred.
The bill, introduced by Councilman Chaim Deutsch, won unanimous support in the city council last Thursday. Parties can access them at collisionreport.nypdonline.org.
“This vote,” said Deutsch, a Midwood Democrat, “was a victory for any New York motorist involved in a collision, who will be saved from wasted time and aggravation.”
