False Rocket Alarm in South

YERUSHALAYIM -

Reports of a terrorist rocket launching into southern Israel on Tuesday afternoon were determined to be a false alarm, the IDF said.

Code Red alerts sounded in the Shaar HaNegev and Sdot Negev Regional Councils and there were reports of two rockets hitting open areas and causing no injuries. But the military said it was not the real thing.

It was widely observed that the supposed attack occurred shortly after the State Comptroller issued his report on the 2014 Gaza war, in which over 4,000 rockets were fired at Israel by Hamas and others in Gaza.
