Secret Ambush Catches Palestinians Coming to Throw Firebombs
A secret ambush set up by soldiers near the al-Khadr junction trapped Palestinians who came to throw firebombs at Israelis. The ambush was set up at precisely that spot because of many incidences of stoning and firebombing that have occurred there.
Monday night, the army lookout discerned three suspects approaching the wall that abuts Route 60, near the village of al-Khadr in Gush Etzion. They were planning to throw firebombs. An ambush was set and a Palestinian was nabbed and taken for questioning.
The Palestinians continue to throw stones at Israeli vehicles. Yesterday, they were very active in the areas of Beitar Illit, Me’aras Hamachpelah and the British Police intersection in the Shomron. Bechasdei Shamayim there were no injuries, but damage was caused to property.
Also overnight Monday, the IDF arrested 10 wanted terrorists in Yehudah and Shomron.
