Elad Girl Dies of Complications From Flu

YERUSHALAYIM -

Leah Zinger, a”h, a seven-year-old girl from Elad, passed away Thursday evening from complications relating to a flu virus she contracted last week, Arutz Sheva reported.

She had been treated at Schneider Hospital in Petach Tikvah, where she was on the critical list.

Last Tuesday, Zinger collapsed suddenly after coming down with the flu, and was rushed to the hospital, where her condition worsened.

Despite the efforts of doctors at Schneider, Zinger’s condition deteriorated over the past few days, leading to mass prayers on her behalf and a visit by the Vizhnitzer Rebbe, yblc”t.

Zinger was the daughter of Rabbi Eli Zinger, a member of the Vizhnitz chassidic community in Elad.

The levayah was scheduled to begin at the Zinger home on HaRif Street in Elad at 10:00 p.m. Thursday night. Leah Zinger will be laid to rest in the Segula cemetery in Petach Tikvah.
