Three Border Police officers were lightly wounded Sunday afternoon when an Arab terrorist tried to ram them with a vehicle at an IDF checkpoint. The incident occurred near the village of Beit Omar, between Efrat and Chevron. The three were lightly injured, and were taken to Shaarei Zedek Hospital in Yerushalayim for medical treatment. The terrorist driver was shot and killed by soldiers.

Earlier, a five year old boy was injured by flying glass when Arabs threw rocks at the vehicle he was riding in. The incident occurred near Tekoa, in eastern Gush Etzion. IDF soldiers responded to the incident and began searching for the culprits, who are still at large.

The boy was taken to the Hadassah Hospital at Mount Scopus in Yerushalayim for medical treatment.

Two cars suffered damage from the rocks.
