IDF Soldier Lightly Injured by Firebomb

An IDF soldier was injured Sunday night as a group of soldiers were mapping out the location of the home of the terrorist who killed two people, Hy”d, and injured several others in Yerushalayim Sunday. The house of the terrorist is located north of Yerushalayim. The soldier was lightly injured when a bomb was thrown at his unit.

IDF soldiers, in conjunction with the Shin Bet and Yehudah and Shomron police, shut down a workshop for the manufacture of weapons. The workshop was located in the village of Azzoun, in central Shomron. A number of guns and other weapons were confiscated, and several arrests were made.

Overnight Sunday, security officials said they arrested 16 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
