Thursday was set to be the busiest travel day in the summer seasons, with an expected 85,000 passengers traveling both to and from Israel.

Data from the Israel Airport Authority shows that 489 international flights are traveling in and out of Israel on Thursday making it the busiest day of the year for Ben Gurion Airport.
