Unconscious Man Found in Hudson River Dies

The NYPD says a man found unconscious in the Hudson River has died.

Police say the man was pulled out of the water near Battery Place in Lower Manhattan late Tuesday night. They say the unconscious victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

The man’s name was withheld pending family notification.
