Security Forces Bulldoze Home of Murderer of 13-Year-Old Israeli

Security forces overnight Sunday demolished the home of the terrorist who murdered Hallel Yaffa Ariel, Hy”d, in June. IDF soldiers entered the village of Bani Na’im and bulldozed the home of the family of 17-year-old Mahmoud Nasser Mahmoud Trayer, who murdered the 13-year-old Israeli girl as she slept in her bedroom in Kiryat Arba.

It was one of the most brutal attacks in the nearly yearlong wave of Palestinian terror attacks that has killed 34 Israelis, Hy”d. Ariel, a dual Israeli-American citizen, was the youngest victim.

Riots broke out during the demolition operation, with about 40 Arabs throwing stones and other objects at soldiers. Security forces broke up the riot. No arrests were made.

Overnight Sunday, security officials said they arrested 11 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
