Eight Arab terrorists were injured overnight Tuesday when a terror tunnel collapsed in Gaza, Hamas sources confirmed. The collapse occurred in a tunnel under the Sajiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. That collapse followed one on Monday, in which an Islamic Jihad terrorist was killed as a tunnel south of Gaza City collapsed. Unconfirmed reports said that two additional terrorists were killed in a different tunnel collapse in Gaza Sunday morning.

Overnight Tuesday, security officials said they arrested 13 wanted security suspects in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and for throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.

IDF soldiers and police also seized weapons and fake Israeli identity cards in villages near Umm el-Gaham overnight Tuesday. Among the weapons seized were rifles, automatic weapons, handguns, hand grenades and large amounts of ammunition. Several suspects were arrested. Officials are investigating whether the weapons cache was to be used for criminal or terrorist purposes.
