House Speaker Paul Ryan is making a final push across his southeast Wisconsin congressional district in advance of a primary where he faces a challenge from a Republican who had been praised by Donald Trump.

Ryan’s upstart opponent Paul Nehlen is riding a burst of publicity thanks to compliments from Trump last week. But days later, Trump endorsed Ryan during a Green Bay rally.

Ryan plans to campaign Monday at businesses in Racine and Pleasant Prairie.

Nehlen posted a video Monday making a pitch to voters, saying Ryan has failed to secure the border and enforce immigration laws.
