NJ Route 17 at Garden State Parkway to Be Closed Late Nights
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the New Jersey State Department of Transportation has advised Bergen County OEM that Route 17 at the Garden State Parkway (Paramus) will be closed weeknights from midnight until 4 a.m., starting on Wednesday, August 10th, and lasting for approximately three weeks due to the ongoing Garden State Parkway Interchange 163 Improvement Project. The closure schedule will start northbound for four days then southbound for four days; repeating this schedule for the three weeks. The traffic detour will be via Farview Avenue between Century Road and Midland Avenue. There will be nightly lane closures starting at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning on Route 17 through this area.
Also, expect nightly closures of Exit 163 on the Garden State Parkway during this work.
