French Jewish MP Decries ‘Intifada of the Knives’

Jewish member of the French parliament Meir Habib said on Tuesday in response to the latest terror attack, that “the intifada of the knives has arrived now in France. To my sorrow, but not to my surprise, the barbarity of the Jihadists has once again struck the French people, and there is no escaping this reality.”

“I wish to convey my sincere condolences to the family of the victim, an 87-year-old priest at the church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, at the hands of those who will kill anyone who doesn’t follow in their ideology.”

“This brutal killing reinforces my fear that the intifada of the knives has come to France. We can no longer afford to be naïve. They came and murdered a priest in Normandy. We are not talking about a war for territory, but a war of civilizations, perhaps a religious war and a new world war.

“How many more people have to die before France finally opens its eyes and takes the necessary action? It’s clear that it’s either them or us. We have to tear up ISIS from its roots, with ground operations in Iraq and Syria. There is no other choice.

“In France, we have to go after the Jihadists and Islamic extremists without mercy. We have to shut down the mosques of the Salafists and keep them under surveillance. We can no longer get by with band-aids on the wounds.”
