March in Chevron Area to Demand End to Terror Wave

YERUSHALAYIM -

Hundreds of people marched in the Chevron area on Sunday to demand the government use a stronger hand against the terrorism which has taken several Jewish lives in recent weeks.

The protest started at Adorayim Junction, the site of the deadly drive-by shooting which claimed the life of Rabbi Michael Mark, Hy”d, 10 days ago, in Otniel, Har Hevron.

Several of the Mark children, yblc”t, as well as relatives of 13-year-old Hallel Yaffa Ariel, Hy”d, who was murdered in her home Kiryat Arba, took part in the march, along with community and spiritual leaders.

“We demand that the prime minister and (Security) Cabinet members change direction, stop the policy of containment and return deterrence,” the Yesha Council said in a statement.
