Greenfield Gets Funding for Comunity Programs

BROOKLYN

Councilman David Greenfield has secured funding for several programs in his Boro Park, Midwood and Bensonhurst district in the city’s budget, which takes effect this Friday.

NYC Cleanup, a program that helps keep streets and sidewalks clean, received $7.8 million, an increase of $2 million from last year. Greenfield also secured $300,000 for sidewalk reconstruction and street milling.

Other community groups that received funding are Ohel (1.6 million), Hatzolah ($300,000) and Maimonides ($800,000).
