U.S., Israel Held Joint Search and Rescue Exercise

Wednesday saw the conclusion of a joint search and rescue exercise with the U.S. military and the Israel Defense Forces at the Lod Industrial area.

78 American soldiers from the search and rescue units belonging to the National Guards of Indiana, Virginia, and other states, along with the National Israeli Search and Rescue unit, practiced extraction from collapsed buildings, while fully cooperating between them learning each others’ methods and tactics.
