IDF Troops Confiscate Weapon in Yatta

IDF troops overnight Tuesday arrested a suspect who had in his possession an M16 rifle. The suspect lived in Yatta, the same town where the terrorists who attacked patrons at Tel Aviv Sarona Market lived. The weapon was confiscated and the suspect was arrested.

In other areas of Yehudah and Shomron overnight Tuesday, security officials said they arrested 12 wanted security suspects. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and for throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.

On Wednesday, Israeli naval forces seized several vessels off the coast of Gaza that were behaving suspiciously. Four suspects were taken into custody.
