Security officials announced Monday that they had last week arrested an Arab from Yerushalayim who had spread anti-Israel incitement via social networks, seeking to recruit terrorists to carry out attacks against Israelis. The 20-year-old Arab was accused of praising recent terror attacks and encouraging others to carry out more of them.

In one of his postings, thousands of respondents agreed with his sentiments and said they supported him, even if they were not themselves willing to carry out attacks. The suspect is being held until the conclusion of proceedings, police said.

Earlier, a military court sentenced to three life terms the terrorists who killed Rabbi Yaakov Litman and his son Netanel, Hy”d. The incident occurred last November, when the Litmans were riding in their family car near their home in Kiryat Arba, on their way to a Shabbat Chattan in honor of the upcoming wedding that week of their daughter Sarah-Techiya.
