An Arab attempted to climb the fence of an IDF base outside Yerushalayim, security sources said. The incident occurred Sunday night, when the Arab was caught attempting to scale the fence at the Ofarit army base north of the city. Forces searched the area for accomplices and detained the suspect.

Also Sunday night, a bus driver was lightly injured by Arab rock throwers. The incident occurred on the road near the Arab town of Hizme, just outside of Yerushalayim. In a separate incident, a bus was damaged near the Hawara checkpoint in Shomron when it was hit by a sharp metal object. No one was injured but there was damage to the bus.

Overnight Sunday, security officials said they arrested 7 wanted security suspects in other areas in Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.
