Soldiers Seize Weapons in Arab Village

Security officers early Wednesday arrested two Arabs who were found to be storing weapons in their house. The weapons were discovered in a raid on the home in the village of A-Dik in Shomron. Among the weapons found were rifles, side weapons, ammunition and military equipment.

Overnight Tuesday, security officials said they arrested 21 wanted security suspects in other parts of Yehudah and Shomron. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and for throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. They were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.

Also overnight Tuesday, police raided the home of a discharged IDF soldier who was found to be holding weapons and other military equipment illegally. The soldier, 22, was arrested along with his 25-year-old brother.
