Project Witness Honored by U.S. Senate

On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate celebrated Jewish American Heritage Month by officially recognizing several outstanding Jewish Americans who have greatly enriched the fabric of American life. One of those honored was Hamodia publisher Mrs. Ruth Lichtenstein, the founder and director of Project Witness, who was recognized for her trailblazing accomplishments in Holocaust education. Among those representing Project Witness and Hamodia at the ceremony were: (L-R) Mr. Shimon Lichtenstein, Rabbi Hershel Steinberg, Mr. Yonoson Moller, Mr. Moshe Batalion, and Mr. Gi Orman.
