East Ramapo School Board Results

Voters in the East Ramapo school district went to the polls on Tuesday reelecting Yehudah Weissmandel, Bernard L. Charles, Jr. and Pierre Germain for another term as school board members.

Sabrina Charles-Pierre who was seeking election to the unexpired term she was appointed to last year. Sabrina ran unopposed and received 4,943 votes.

Mr. Weissmandel won with 7548 votes vs. his opponent who received  4356 votes, a 63% lead.

Mr. Charles, Jr. won with 7897 votes vs. his opponent who received 3932 votes, a  67% lead.

Mr. Germain won with 7780 votes vs. his opponent who received 4094 votes, a 65% lead.

All three were endorsed by leaders of the local Jewish community and leading askanim.

Voters also got to decide on the school budget, by a vote of 4544 to 3615 they voted to pass the budget.
