Police on Wednesday arrested an Arab thief who was dressed in the uniform of an IDF soldier. Police in Shoham received a call from local residents about a group of suspicious individuals who were trying to break into a vehicle. Police conducted a search and found members of the gang hiding – one of them wearing a soldier’s uniform. All have been taken into custody.

Earlier, a Haifa court issued an indictment against three Arabs who were planning to conduct stabbing and terror attacks in Yerushalayim. Ali Sobah, Ibrahim Shami, and Mahdi Basal, all residents of a village in northern Israel, had acquired weapons and were planning to carry out a stabbing attack near the Old City, and were arrested at the Damascus Gate carrying the weapons.

In addition, the indictment charges they were planning to carry out a shooting attack.
