Perp Arrested in NYC Subway Stabbing of Israeli Tourist
The man wanted by NYPD in the stabbing of 55-year-old chareidi Israeli tourist at a Manhattan subway station on Friday has been arrested.
Marvin Taylor, 24, was arrested by police on Sunday. He has been charged with robbery, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. According to ABC7, Taylor is a homeless man who has at least ten prior arrests.
Security-camera footage from the subway station show Taylor and the victim struggling. The victim had gotten lost in the subway system and fell asleep on a bench, before being awakened by Taylor, who demanded money. A struggle ensued, and Taylor slashed the victim a number of times. The video footage shows the victim holding his hat and trying to flee through a subway turnstile.
