IDF troops swept through the Arab village of A-Zawiya in northern Israel and discovered an illegal weapons cache. The weapons included guns, along with ammunition. The residents of the house where the weapons were found were arrested.

Overnight Motzoei Shabbos, 11 wanted security suspects in Yehudah and Shomron were arrested, security officials said. The suspects were wanted for participating in rioting and throwing stones and firebombs that endangered Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. Several of the suspects were also charged with belonging to Hamas. All were being questioned on their activities by security forces.

On Motzoei Shabbos, drivers on Road 443 complained that lasers were beamed at them as they drove, blinding them. The use of lasers to blind drivers at night is a relatively new harassment tactic by Arabs against Israelis. Soldiers were dispatched to trace the source of the lasers, and drivers were cautioned to drive slowly and carefully in the area, which has been the target of similar activity in recent weeks.
