Heartshare Heating Aid Reopens Due To Available Funds

Due to an availability of funding, a program to help residents pay home heating bills reopened, a lawmaker said Monday.
Assemblyman Steven Cymbrowitz said that previously, Heartshare had only reopened so late in the season for applicants with an active shut-off notice.
Eligibility is based on household size and income. Qualified households will receive a $200 grant.
