State officials are reminding New York residents that the registration deadline for voting in the state’s presidential primary is Friday, March 25.
New York’s primary will be held on April 19. Donald Trump, a New Yorker, fights Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich for the GOP nomination, while Hillary Clinton, who represented New York in the Senate until 2008, and Brooklyn-born Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders battle for the Democratic nod.
Eligible voters looking to register or change enrollment information can use the online voter registration service on the state Department of Motor Vehicles’ website.
