Jaffa Stabber Just Back From Mecca

YERUSHALAYIM -

The Palestinian terrorist who went on a murderous stabbing rampage on Tuesday night in Jaffa had recently returned from a pilgrimage to Mecca, The Times of Israel said on Wednesday.

Bashar Massalha, 22, from the Qalqiliya area in Yehudah and Shomron, visited the Muslim holy sites of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, and posted pictures of himself there just a few days ago.

A site associated with Fatah also praised the attack, along with two others that took place Tuesday.

“We promise you that your blood will continue to be a torch that illuminates our path, until we achieve what you died for as Martyrs,” a post read, according to Israel-based watchdog Palestinian Media Watch.

Massalha was apparently not a member of any terrorist organization. His murders nevertheless garnered kudos from Hamas and a site associated with Fatah, according to Israel-based watchdog Palestinian Media Watch.
