Three villages were found to have significant fiscal stress in 2015: Potsdam in St. Lawrence County, Pomona in Rockland County and Tannersville in Greene County.
Four more villages were listed as having moderate fiscal stress: Cherry Creek in Chautauqua County, Gowanda in Cattaraugus County, Akron in Erie County and Fayetteville in Onondaga County.
