As a result of the attack, workers from the Palestinian Authority have been banned from Maaleh Adumim until Thursday. A gag order placed on the events surrounding the attack was still in effect Motzoei Shabbos. The main entrance to the city remained closed over Shabbos. Residents were being asked to use a second entrance in order to enter or leave the city.

Police and IDF soldiers were active throughout the entire area over the weekend. The area’s industrial zone is operating as usual.

On Friday evening, a 16-year-old terrorist attacked IDF soldiers at a checkpoint near Beit El. The soldiers shot at the terrorist, a resident of a village near Ramallah, eliminating him.
