Poll: Clinton, Trump Favored Among NY Voters

ALBANY (AP/Hamodia) —

A new poll shows Hillary Clinton favored by registered New York Democrats while Donald Trump leads among Republicans voters in the state.

However, the Siena poll has Sen. Bernie Sanders beating Trump by a larger margin than Clinton.

Clinton would defeat Sanders 55 percent to 34 percent. In the Republican primary, 34 percent would vote for Trump, and 16 percent each for Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

Clinton’s lead over the six top GOP candidates is between 17 points and 26 points, while Sanders is leading them between 22 and 33 points.
