Terrorists’ Hometown Shut Down After Deadly Attack
Israeli authorities have imposed closure on the Palestinian village of Kabatiya, just south of Jenin, in response to the terrorist attack in Yerushalayim perpetrated by three of its residents.
The attack took the life of a Border Policewoman, Hadar Cohen, Hy”d, 19, and left another seriously wounded.
The three Palestinians were shot dead immediately after the attack.
The closure decision was made during an emergency meeting convened by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
The premier consulted with senior cabinet members and defense officials, including Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit, and a representative of Shin Bet.
