NYC Man Says Friend Stole $50,000 Winning Powerball
A Bronx man accused his friend of stealing his $50,000 winning lottery ticket from the $1.5 billion Powerball drawing earlier this month.
Victor Castillo says Rubeline Segura took the ticket and tried to cash it. Segura came back and said it wasn’t worth anything. But Castillo called police after workers told him the ticket actually matched four winning numbers and the Powerball. Segura was arrested Tuesday. Castillo says he’s no longer friends with him.
