The Shin Bet announced Monday that, in a joint operation with the IDF, it had arrested two female terrorists who had planned an attack on an Israeli town. The two, twin sisters about 18 years of age, were residents of Tulkarem, which is adjacent to the green line and a short distance from the coastal city of Netanyah.

Security officials discovered a large collection of weapons in their homes. The weapons included guns, bombs, grenades, and other items. The two admitted that they were in the advanced stages of planning an attack, although they had not decided on a target yet.

According to the Shin Bet, the two learned how to build bombs and plan terror attacks via terrorist sites and social media.
