Hotovely Blames Terror Killings on Foreign Funding
Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) on Sunday blamed foreign funding of the Palestinian Authority for the incitement which led to the murder of Dafna Meir, Hy”d.
Hotovely’s comment came in response to disclosure by the Shin Bet that the 16-year-old Palestinian who stabbed to death the mother of six in Otniel was incited by Palestinian broadcasting.
“This money goes to incitement, this money ignites terror,” she said. “This is what I tell heads of states who stream money to the (Palestinian) Authority’s mechanisms: check where the money is going,” Arutz Sheva quoted her as saying.
“The Shin Bet Shabak (ISA) proved that there is a direct connection between incitement and horrific acts of terror that we are witnessing in the recent period,” she said.
Hotovely recently published figures showing that the PA continues to fund terrorism and support terrorists, both by broadcasting programs inciting terror, and financing the families’ of terrorists, with the relatives of those who succeeded in murdering Israelis receiving a larger kickback.
