Tehillim for Harav Belsky on Motzoei Shabbos

The condition of Harav Chaim Yisroel Belsky, shlita, noted posek and Rosh Yeshivah of Torah Vodaath, continues to deteriorate, and the tzibur is asked to daven for his recovery.

A public recitation of perakim of Tehillim, led by Harav Eliezer Ginsburg, will be said for his complete refuah on Motzoei Shabbos, at 11 p.m. EST.

A similar Tehillim call-in was said for Rav Belsky on Thursday night. Prior to leading the recital of Tehillim, perakim 20, 121, 130, 142, Rav Ginsburg spoke for several minutes. Rav Ginsburg described how Rav Belsky has always been there for Klal Yisrael, to be the moreh derech and answer all sorts of difficult questions and give psak in Halachah as it applies to contemporary questions, and has always been there for individuals, for anyone who needed to pour his heart out to him.

All are asked to continue to daven and increase their tefillos, tzedakah, mitzvos and maasim tovim as a zechus for Chaim Yisroel ben Chana Tzirel l’refuah sheleimah, b’soch shaar cholei Yisrael.
