An Arab terrorist attempted to infiltrate a school in the southern Israeli town of Dimona Monday morning. The terrorist, who was brandishing a knife, attempted to climb the fence of the Zinman school in the town, but was stopped when a security guard noticed what was happening and successfully prevented him from carrying out an attack. No one was injured in the incident.

Earlier Monday, security officials charged two Arabs from Chevron who were attempting to smuggle materials for the preparation of explosive devices into Gaza. The two worked in a construction firm, and had attempted to smuggle the materials into Gaza via a shipment of building materials that had received a license for transport. Indictments were handed down against the two in a Be’er Sheva court Monday.

Thirteen other wanted security suspects were arrested overnight Sunday in Yehudah and Shomron, several of them identified as Hamas activists, and several for participating in riots, endangering Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.
