All of the Hamas members who guarded kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit for five years in Gaza have met their deaths, according to a Hamas statement made on Wednesday.

Hamas said that Abdel Rahman Al-Mubasher was the last of the group to die, in the collapse of a smuggling tunnel along the border with Egypt earlier this week. It named the four others as Sami Al-Hamaydi, Abdullah Ali Labad, Khaled Abu Bakra and Mohamed Rashid Daoud.
Although the Gaza terrorist organization did not give out details about the deaths of the other four, sources in the Gaza Strip said they were killed by the IDF, The Jerusalem Post reported.
Hamas also released new photos of Shalit and his captors and details about the kidnapping.
The decision to make the information public was reportedly made by Mohamed Deif, the commander of Hamas armed wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam.
