Passenger Thrown Through Windshield of Tour Bus in NJ
A passenger was thrown through the front windshield of a tour bus during a sudden stop at a traffic light in northern New Jersey.
The accident happened at 11 a.m. Tuesday just outside the Lincoln Tunnel entrance in Weehawken. The passenger is being treated at a hospital for injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening.
About 55 passengers were aboard the Baltimore-based private tour bus, which was bound for Manhattan. Authorities say the man was standing when the accident occurred.
The man flew through the front windshield and landed on the street.
Authorities say the glass portion of the windshield didn’t break, though the entire front window broke free from the bus.
