Spring Valley Police Arrest 2 Suspects in Car Break-Ins
The suspects responsible for the recent spate of Friday night car break-ins have been arrested, reported Chaveirim of Rockland County.
On Sunday, Chaveirim received a phone call from a resident of Spring Valley who had an iPad stolen from their car. Chaverim pinged the device to track its location, which was at the corner of Ewing Ave and N. Pascack Rd. Chaverim responded to the location, identified the two suspects from recent security-camera footage of them breaking into cars, and notified Spring Valley Police.
After a pursuit involving both Chaveirim and the Spring Valley police, the suspects were apprehended. Spring Valley Police told Chaverim that the suspects are part of an organized ring that targets the Monsey and Spring Valley area on Friday nights.
Chaveirim thanked the Ramapo and Spring Valley Police Departments for their work in resolving the case.
