Blast at Moscow Bus Stop Not Terror-Related

A blast at a bus stop in central Moscow has injured three people, reported Russia Today, citing news outlet TASS. However, the blast is not terror-related.

Police sources told TASS that “an unknown home-made explosive device has gone off at a public transport stop injuring three people.”

Andrey Galiakbero, Moscow police spokesman, confirmed reports iof the blast. He said authorities are looking into the incident.

In the past, criminal groups in Russia have used low-power explosives in their turf battles.
