IDF soldiers meanwhile arrested 11 wanted security suspects throughout Yehudah and Shomron. Most of the suspects were arrested on charges of rioting and throwing stones and firebombs at civilians and soldiers. Six of the suspects were members of Hamas, officials said. All were being questioned by security officials.

An Israeli police officer was wounded in a stabbing attack Thursday evening in the area of the Damascus Gate of the Old City of Yerushalayim (Sha’ar Shechem).
