Burglar Menaces Shomrim Member With Knife
A young male caught breaking into cars in Boro Park Wednesday afternoon pulled a knife on the Shomrim members who apprehended him, but nobody was injured.
Capt. Kenneth Quick, the commanding officer of the NYPD’s 66th precinct, told Hamodia that Shomrim members caught “two young males” breaking into cars on 12th Ave. and 53rd Street. The suspects, who appear to be adolescents, ran away and were chased by Shomrim.
“To avoid apprehension,” Quick said, “one of the males menaced the Shomrim member with a knife. He was safely apprehended. No injuries to anyone.”
Contrary to reports of two Arabs attempting to stab a Jew, Quick added that “there was no bias motivation.”
