For the first time in three months, Israelis were able to enter Kever Yosef in Shechem to daven. Four busloads of Israelis arrived at the site early Thursday morning.
Among those in the group were Harav Mordechai Gross, shlita, of Bnei Brak, Gaavad of Chanichei Hayeshivos.
Among the group of about 250 were dozens of young bachurim who had come not only to daven, but to help in the reconstruction efforts to restore the kever compound after an Arab mob nearly destroyed it last month. A rioting mob gathered and set several fires in the early morning hours of Oct. 16. One of the fires spread to several parts of the compound. The IDF said that it would work to restore the structure and repair the damage
