Parts of Boro Park’s 18th Avenue to Be Closed Thursday for Repairs

BROOKLYN -

Parts of Boro Park’s 18th Avenue will be shut for repaving the entire day Thursday, New York City’s Department of Transportation announced.

Signs appeared on the avenue, between McDonald Avenue and Ocean Parkway, warning residents that any cars on that stretch of 18th Ave. will be towed from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Owners will be able to retrieve their vehicles from the local police precinct and will not be penalized, the DOT said.
