Gridlock Alert: GWB Lower Lanes to Close On Weeknights

Commuters who use the George Washington Bridge overnight will be facing some lane closures beginning Monday.
The bridge’s lower-level lanes will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in alternating directions because of construction work. On Monday the eastbound lanes to New York will close. From Tuesday to Friday the westbound lanes to New Jersey will be closed. The closures will continue through mid-November.
