Man Run Over by F Train at 18th Avenue Station
A man was killed after an accident on the tracks of the F train station at 18th and McDonald Avenues Tuesday evening.
The victim, a 43-year old male, was run over by a train, according to NYPD; it was unclear how he got onto the tracks. As spectators gathered on the streets below the station, the electricity to the tracks was shut off, and rescue crews partially uncoupled two train cars to free the victim. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
