Reb Shmuel Kizelnik, z”l
As we went to print we were saddened to learn of the passing of Reb Shmuel Kizelnik, z”l, the longtime member of the beis medrash of the Muzhayer Rebbe, and beloved member of the Flatbush community.
A native of Marmorosh, he endured the Holocaust, but his simchas hachaim was the thing which defined him. He would frequently exclaim; “In 1945, who would have believed that I would merit to see this renewal?”
Reb Shmuel was adored by all who knew him, and a fuller tribute is planned for a future edition.
